Privacy
Milvus Travel is a small house. We collect only what a journey asks for, keep it for as long as we need to serve you, and never sell it. What follows is the longer form of that promise.
What we collect
We collect four categories of information, gathered only when you give it to us or when a journey depends on it.
- Account details — your name, email, and the preferences you share with your architect.
- Trip details — destinations, dates, travellers, and the brief you write us.
- Location — only while the Milvus app is open during an active journey, and only if you allow it.
- Payment details — handled by a PCI-DSS compliant processor. Card numbers never reach our servers.
- Device and diagnostic data — the minimum needed to keep the app reliable on your phone.
How we use it
Five uses, and no others:
- To operate your journey — bookings, documents, and the logistics that make it feel quiet.
- To let your architect respond quickly when something moves.
- To transcribe voice notes you send us, so nothing is lost between calls.
- To contact you about your journey. We do not send marketing emails.
- To meet legal, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the people a journey requires:
- Hotels, drivers, guides, and other ground partners — the minimum they need to deliver the service.
- Trusted technology vendors (hosting, email, payments) bound by contract.
- Authorities, when we are legally required to respond.
We do not sell personal data. We do not rent it. We do not run ads against it.
How long we keep it
As long as you are a client, and for a reasonable period afterwards — usually seven years for financial records, shorter for everything else. You can ask us to delete earlier.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Show you the data we hold on you.
- Delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it.
- Stop processing it for a specific purpose.
- Export it in a portable format.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access for staff, and audited changes. No system is perfect — if something goes wrong, we will tell you quickly and clearly.
International transfers
Your data may travel to providers outside your country. Where it does, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
